About My Account for Mälartåg single tickets
With My Account you can quickly and easily rebook your journey directly in the app or on the web. Since you can log in to your account from any device, you don't need to worry about losing your ticket. When logged in, you can also save payment cards, view your tickets, and download receipts and tickets in PDF format.
If you have changed plans and need to rebook your journey to an earlier or later train on the same day or in the future, you can now do so quickly and easily yourself via My Account. The journey needs to be rebooked before the regular departure time and on the same route in any direction. It is also possible to rebook your ticket via Mälartåg customer service, with or without a personal account, but no later than 60 minutes before the regular departure.
When you rebook your ticket, the compensation terms for delays are transferred to the new ticket/journey, if that journey were to be delayed or canceled. In case of a canceled departure, you always have the option to travel on the next departure or with designated replacement transportation without having to rebook your ticket.

Do I need to create an account to travel with Mälartåg?
No, you can book and travel with our single tickets without creating an account.
Can I rebook my ticket if my train is canceled or delayed after the regular departure time?
No. After the regular departure time, it is not possible to purchase or rebook your journey. In case of canceled trains, your ticket is always valid for the next departure or designated replacement transportation. See the compensation terms for delays (EVF) here.
Is it possible to rebook my ticket if I know the train will be canceled or delayed before the regular departure time?
As long as the train is not canceled or the time has not passed the regular departure time, you can always rebook your journey yourself via your account. However, if you rebook your ticket via Mälartåg customer service, this must be done no later than 60 minutes before the regular departure time.
If you rebook your ticket, the possibility of compensation for delays on the original ticket ceases to apply and instead applies to the new journey. In case of a canceled departure, you always have the option to travel on the next departure or with designated replacement transportation without having to rebook your ticket.
Can I rebook individual tickets on a group ticket with more people in the party?
If you have purchased a ticket for two or more people (group ticket), you can only rebook the entire journey for all individuals on the ticket. To rebook an individual's ticket, you need to purchase separate tickets for each person in the party.
Is it possible to change my destination or passenger category when rebooking my ticket?
You can only choose to change the direction on the same route and with the same passenger category.

Delete account
