Park your bicycle safely at the station

Everyday exercise is very important for our health – and biking to the train or bus is an excellent way to get some physical activity before boarding Mälartåg. Here you can find train stations, served by Mälartåg, that offer bike garages or bike boxes – and we also list a few stations where bike services are planned.

Bike garages and bike boxes at the station

Eskilstuna

At the Travel Center, there is a bike garage with space for 96 bicycles. The rental fee is 100 SEK for 30 days. You need to register as a user with Triply.

Gävle

In the Briggen mobility house, there are bike boxes with charging options for electric bikes, which you can rent on a monthly basis. It costs 125 SEK per month, and you can collect the key from Gävle Parking Service after your application is approved.

Katrineholm

At Katrineholm Travel Center, there is a bike garage with space for 38 bicycles, accessible 24/7. There are also storage lockers for helmets and rain gear, as well as charging stations for electric bikes. You need to register as a user with Triply.

Linköping

The bike garage at the Travel Center is accessible 24/7, and you can also charge your electric bike and store items in lockers. You need to register as a user with Triply.

Uppsala

The bike parking house is open from 05:00 to 02:00 and is staffed with attendants from 07:00 to 15:00.

Läggesta

The bike garage has space for 60 standard bicycles and two cargo bikes. The garage is accessible 24/7. You need to register as a user with Triply.

Norrköping

At the Travel Center, adjacent to the regular bike parking area, there are bike boxes available for rent via the municipality's website. Register your interest through the municipality's website.

Örebro

The bike garage at the Travel Center has space for 50 bicycles. There are also storage lockers with code locks for helmets and rain gear, as well as power outlets for charging electric bikes. Directly adjacent to the garage, there is a bike pump and a station for minor bike repairs. The bike garage is accessible 24/7. You need to register as a user with Triply.

There is no locked bike garage here, but there are bike racks in the parking garage.

Nyköping

A "bike parking house" is planned as part of a new travel center that will be built.

Skutskär

There are plans for a bike garage with access to a bike pump.

Stockholm

There are plans for a larger bike garage at Stockholm Central Station, but it has not yet materialized. Currently, there is one at Odenplan, but it only offers rental spaces.

Västerås

There are plans for a bike garage at a new travel center.
