How to purchase your single ticket with Mälartåg
Mälartåg's single tickets are available for purchase in Mälartåg's app and on our website.

You can purchase your single ticket with Mälartåg easiest in Mälartåg's app or on Mälartåg.se
You can also purchase your journey with Mälartåg on Sj.se or in SJ's app as well as other train companies, such as Snälltåget and Vy, which are resellers of ResPlus tickets. If you are unable to purchase your ticket digitally, you can also buy a ticket through our physical retailers for a fee.
If you are over 18 years old and traveling from a station where nearby retailers are not available*, you can also purchase your single ticket or Resplus ticket (when Mälartåg is included in the journey) on invoice through Mälartåg customer service for a fee of 30 SEK. Please note that ticket purchases through Mälartåg customer service need to be made well in advance of departure (at least 3 working days before departure if you wish to receive the ticket by email and 7 working days before if you wish to receive a printed ticket sent by mail to your registered address). Specific terms and conditions apply to the purchase.
*By stations where nearby retailers are not available, we are referring to Flen, Läggesta, Nykvarn, Vingåker, Knivsta, Sala, Arboga, and Gävle.
How to pay for your trip
When you purchase your ticket directly from Mälartåg, you can pay with Swish and credit card. The payment service is provided via Nordea.
