Exceptions and Restrictions for Movingo

Validity of County Period Cards 

Within the counties of Sörmland, Västmanland and Örebro and Kolmården-Norrköping, the commuter cards of the respective local transport services apply. Movingo is therefore not sold on these routes. 

Movingo is not valid as a "länskort" on regional trains 

In the counties of Sörmland, Västmanland and Örebro, the respective local transport authority's county card is valid not only for its own local transport services but also for certain train services operated by other operators.  Movingo cannot be used as a "länskort" on this train service. This means that Movingo is not valid on Tågab, Västtrafik or Värmlandstrafik. 

Movingo is not valid on all SJ trains 

Movingo is valid on what is commonly known as "regionaltåg". This means that Movingo is not valid on X 2000, SJ's other fast trains or night trains.

Boarding and disembarkation restrictions at Sundbyberg

At Sundbyberg station, you are not allowed to board SJ's regional train heading towards Stockholm. You are not allowed to disembark at Sundbyberg if you are traveling from Stockholm.

When you specify your desired destination and origin when purchasing a Movingo ticket, these restrictions for Sundbyberg station will limit the search results.

However, you are, of course, allowed to disembark at Sundbyberg when traveling towards Stockholm and board the train coming from Stockholm.
